Bloodstock Management Services Program

While our Priority Plus Platinum program provides clients with unlimited consultation and availability to our products, some clients like to have more extensive management of their entire breeding operation. For this reason, WTC has created our Bloodstock Management Services Program, which allows us to serve the wide-ranging needs of clients with larger breeding operations.

We currently provide management services for both broodmare and stallion operations, tailored to the needs of individual operations. The cost of the program is determined by the extent of the services required. Here is a list of the services that are available as part of WTC's Bloodstock Management Services Program:

1. Broodmare management: includes serving as liaison with the farm(s); assisting with the selection of stallions for each mare; securing stallion seasons for the mares; reviewing contracts and completing the necessary paperwork associated with booking mares; nominating and registering the foals; regularly updating and reporting the status of mares and foals, including last cover dates, health issues, etc.
2. Sales management: includes recommendations of specific sales that best suit individual bloodstock; serving as client's liaison with sales consignors; and completing all of sales entry paperwork.
3. Stallion management: includes serving as liaison with the farm; assisting farm and/or advertising agency with promotion of the stallion; recommending and approving foal-sharing and mare-sharing agreements when applicable; assisting in the selection and purchase of compatible mares for individual stallions.
4. Administration: includes completion and filing of documents and forms related to Jockey Club, Breeders' Cup, KTDF, state breeding and racing programs, etc.
5. Bookkeeping: monthly statements, securing applicable tax forms, etc.
6. Plus all of the services provided under our Priority Plus Platinum program.
