WTC's BEST OF SALES 3YO's ARE ON A ROLL!
AWESOME CHIC daylighted the field in the G3 Florida Oaks. CAROLYN'S CAT did the same in the G3 Cicada Stakes at Aqueduct, defeating 2nd place finisher READY FOR FORTUNE by nearly four lengths. POLONIUS took the Pasadena Stakes at Santa Anita by four lengths. And, finally, ATONED lost to Big Truck by a short neck in the G3 Tampa Bay Derby.

The G3 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct on Saturday was won by VISIONAIRE, a $90,000 RNA from the FTFEB07 2YO sale! Meanwhile, MY PAL CHARLIE ran 2nd in the G2 Louisiana Derby at the Fair Grounds, and TRES BORRACHOS, a $7,000 FTKentucky yearling, ran 3rd in the G3 El Camino Real Derby.

DREAMING OF ANNA, winner of the BC Juvenile Fillies. has assured herself the Eclipse Award as Champion 2yo Filly of 2006. When owner/breeder Frank C. Calabrese ordered our Broodmare Compatibility Analysis for Justenuffheart early 2003, neither of us could have imagined that our recommendation of Rahy would result in an undefeated 2yo (4-4), Breeders' Cup winner, and the likely Champion 2yo filly of 2006. We started off the weekend by sweeping the G2 Alcibiades Stakes with the top three finishers -- BEL AIR BEAUTY, UNTOUCHED TALENT, and HER MAJESTY -- all former Best of Sale recommendations. We then followed that up with TWO G1 wins when ENGLISH CHANNEL easily won the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Inv. Stakes at Belmont and HONEY RYDER won a thrilling photo finish in the Flower Bowl Invitational Stakes.

After having an incredible SEVEN juvenile stakes races won by former Best of Sale recommendations during the weekend of September 16-17, we came right back this past weekend with FOUR more 2yo stakes winners! BIRDBIRDISTHEWORD won the Harrah's Juvenile Stakes at Louisiana Downs. REATA'S ROCKET took the Monmouth Park NATC Futurity. SPARK OF DUBAI romped in the Gateway To Glory Stakes at Fairplex. And, finally, WIN WITH A WINK was victorious in the Joseph A. Gimma Stakes at Belmont.
